| Requirements and Responsibilities For Health Insurance Service Operations Representative |
| Responsible for handling inquiries and operational transactions that support the administration of health insurance services. Supports daily health insurance service operations by answering inquiries regarding policies, coverage, eligibility, and other plan provisions. Researches and explains claim status. May provide support across multiple service areas, including but not limited to account implementation, client support, claim processing, and enrollment and eligibility. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Typically requires 2-4 years of related experience. |
