| Requirements and Responsibilities For Insurance Claims Service Representative I |
| Responds to inquiries and requests from claimants, policyholders, and providers to support the timely handling of insurance claims. Provides information on claim status, coverage, documentation requirements, and next steps. Gathers and updates claim and customer information accurately within the claims system. Documents all interactions and follow-up actions according to established procedures. Ensures compliance with company policies, service standards, and regulatory requirements. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. May require 0-1 year of general work experience. |
