| Requirements and Responsibilities For Health Insurance Service Operations Senior Manager |
| Oversees and manages the team responsible for handling inquiries and operational transactions that support the administration of health insurance services. Monitors and supports daily health insurance service operations by answering inquiries regarding policies, coverage, eligibility, and other plan provisions. Handles escalated service inquiries regarding policies or claims and ensures client satisfaction. Monitors performance of each service area, including but not limited to account implementation, client support, claim processing, and enrollment and eligibility. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. |
