| Requirements and Responsibilities For Sales Representative - Medicare Products |
| Sells Medicare insurance products and related services by educating Medicare-eligible individuals on available plan options, coverage benefits, and enrollment requirements. Develops and maintains relationships with prospective members, brokers, healthcare providers, and community organizations to support membership growth initiatives. Explains Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and prescription drug plan features while ensuring compliance with CMS regulations and company policies. Coordinates enrollment activities, application processing, and customer follow-up communications to ensure timely and accurate policy issuance. Monitors sales goals, customer trends, and market opportunities to improve outreach effectiveness and customer engagement. Maintains accurate sales documentation, customer records, and compliance reporting in accordance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires AHIP Medicare Sales Certification. Typically reports to a manager. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Typically requires 2-4 years of related experience. |
