Requirements and Responsibilities For Inside Sales Representative - Medicare Products
Sells Medicare insurance products through inbound and outbound telephone and digital communications to support enrollment growth and customer acquisition objectives. Contacts prospective and existing customers to explain Medicare plan options, coverage details, pricing, and enrollment procedures in compliance with CMS guidelines and company policies. Responds to customer inquiries, conducts needs assessments, and recommends appropriate Medicare products based on eligibility and healthcare coverage requirements. Processes enrollments, updates customer records, and documents sales interactions using customer relationship management systems and sales platforms. Monitors sales performance metrics and follows established scripts, workflows, and compliance procedures to achieve productivity and quality standards. Collaborates with marketing, customer service, and compliance teams to support enrollment campaigns and customer retention initiatives. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires AHIP Medicare Sales Certification. Typically reports to a manager. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Typically requires 2-4 years of related experience.
