| Requirements and Responsibilities For Sales Director - Medicare Products |
| Directs Medicare product sales strategy and operations to achieve membership growth, revenue targets, and market expansion objectives for Medicare insurance products and services. Develops enterprise sales initiatives, distribution strategies, and broker engagement programs aligned with organizational objectives and CMS requirements. Oversees regional sales performance, forecasting, budgeting, staffing, and operational planning activities for Medicare sales functions. Evaluates competitive market trends, regulatory changes, and customer demographics to identify growth opportunities and optimize sales performance. Collaborates with executive leadership, compliance, marketing, and product development teams to support strategic planning and product commercialization efforts. Represents the organization in broker partnerships, industry events, and regulatory discussions related to Medicare product sales and distribution activities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires AHIP Medicare Sales Certification. Typically reports to senior management. Manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. |
