| Requirements and Responsibilities For Managed Care Pharmacy Consultant |
| Responsible for delivering high-quality pharmacy consulting services within the managed care environment. Develops and implements customized clinical strategies aligned with each client's pharmacy benefit goals, population health priorities, and cost management objectives. Applies expertise in formulary management, drug utilization, and clinical strategy to help clients optimize their pharmacy benefit programs and ensure client and member satisfaction. May require a bachelor's degree in pharmacy. May require Registered Pharmacist (RPh). Typically reports to a manager. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Typically requires 2-4 years of related experience. |
