| Requirements and Responsibilities For Provider Onboarding Specialist III |
| Responsible for managing the onboarding and integration of new healthcare providers (doctors, clinicians, facilities) into an insurance network or health system. Acts as the primary liaison, coordinating credentialing, contracting, and compliance to ensure providers can legally and efficiently begin treating patients and billing for services. Collects and verifies licenses, certifications, and other required information to ensure compliance with state regulations and payer requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Typically requires 4-7 years of related experience. |
