| Requirements and Responsibilities For Provider Onboarding Specialist I |
| Responsible for managing the onboarding and integration of new healthcare providers (doctors, clinicians, facilities) into an insurance network or health system. Acts as the primary liaison, coordinating credentialing, contracting, and compliance to ensure providers can legally and efficiently begin treating patients and billing for services. Collects and verifies licenses, certifications, and other required information to ensure compliance with state regulations and payer requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. |
