| Requirements and Responsibilities For Mortgage Closing Supervisor |
| Supervises daily mortgage closing operations to ensure timely and accurate preparation and execution of loan closing documentation. Oversees a team of mortgage closers by assigning workloads, reviewing closing packages, and monitoring compliance with lending regulations and internal policies. Resolves complex closing issues related to loan terms, documentation discrepancies, or settlement calculations. Ensures that closing procedures align with regulatory requirements and investor guidelines. Trains and guides staff on closing processes, documentation standards, and system usage to maintain operational efficiency and service quality. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. Supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. |
