| Requirements and Responsibilities For Mortgage Closing Manager |
| Manages mortgage closing operations to ensure efficient and compliant execution of loan closings across the organization. Develops and implements procedures governing closing documentation, funding coordination, and regulatory compliance. Monitors and supports mortgage closing supervisors and staff by establishing performance goals, monitoring productivity, and ensuring service quality. Collaborates with underwriting, compliance, and post-closing teams to streamline processes and resolve operational issues. Analyzes closing performance metrics and implements improvements to enhance turnaround times, accuracy, and borrower satisfaction. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes. |
