| Requirements and Responsibilities For Medical Call Center Manager |
| Manages call center daily operations in a hospital. Answers escalated calls about care coordination and addresses concerns with empathy to ensure patient satisfaction. Monitors performance metrics and quality standards for service delivery. Analyzes call data to identify trends, measure productivity and make recommendations for operational improvement. Manages training programs and ensures optimal staffing level at all times. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes. |
