| Requirements and Responsibilities For Commercial Loan Documentation Manager |
| Manages the preparation and review of commercial loan documentation to ensure accuracy, legal compliance, and adherence to bank lending policies. Oversees a team responsible for drafting, reviewing, and finalizing loan agreements, collateral documents, and closing packages for commercial lending transactions. Develops documentation standards, procedures, and controls to support consistent and compliant loan documentation practices. Collaborates with legal counsel, credit officers, and loan operations teams to resolve complex documentation issues. Monitors regulatory changes and industry best practices to maintain compliant loan documentation processes. Evaluates team performance and implements training and process improvements to enhance documentation quality and operational efficiency. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes. |
