| Requirements and Responsibilities For Reimbursement Services Coordinator |
| Performs clerical and administrative tasks to support the reimbursement services function. Enters reimbursement, payment, and account data into systems and verifies accuracy and completeness. Maintains and organizes files, correspondence, and supporting documentation. Responds to routine inquiries from payers, providers, and internal staff regarding reimbursement status. Prepares standard forms, reports, and correspondence in support of reimbursement activities. Follows established procedures and escalates non-routine matters to senior staff. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. Works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Typically requires 1-3 years of related experience. |
