Reviews payment information to verify accuracy and completeness before posting. Verifies payments to principal, interest, escrow, and fees in accordance with loan terms and servicing guidelines. Investigates and resolves payment discrepancies, unapplied funds, and transaction exceptions. Maintains accurate payment records and updates servicing systems to reflect account activity. Supports compliance and audit requirements by ensuring payment processing activities follow regulatory standards and internal controls. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. May require 0-1 year of general work experience. |
