| Requirements and Responsibilities For Insurance Billing Specialist II |
| Responsible for coordinating and administering group insurance customer billing. Documents and enters claims, records payment, and reconciles customer accounts. Handles complex accounts, lapses, collections, and reinstatements. Collects, analyzes, and reports financial information to management. Ensures compliance with all legal regulations, industry standards, and operational guidelines. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Typically requires 2-4 years of related experience. |
