Requirements and Responsibilities For Online Pharmacist
Responsible for compounding and dispensing prescribed drugs for online or mail order prescriptions. Reviews incoming electronic prescriptions for accuracy, appropriate dosage, and potential drug interactions or allergies. Ensures all required pharmacy data is recorded correctly, maintained accurately, and complies with all regulatory procedures and quality control standards. Typically has minimal interaction with customers. Requires a doctorate degree in pharmacy. Requires Registered Pharmacist (RPh). Typically reports to a manager. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Typically requires 2-4 years of related experience.
