| Requirements and Responsibilities For Mortgage Lending Senior Manager |
| Oversees and manages the team responsible for soliciting and developing residential mortgage loans. Monitors the loan application and review process, including interviewing applicants, collecting financial data and documents, and making recommendations regarding the loan products that best meet the borrower's needs. Assists buyers in the purchase process through closing. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. |
