| Requirements and Responsibilities For Consumer Lending Senior Manager |
| Oversees and manages the team responsible for evaluating, approving, and managing consumer loans. Monitors loan applications and analyzes applicants' financial statements and credit histories to determine creditworthiness and repayment potential. Reviews loan terms and conditions and ensures loan agreements are complete and accurate. Monitors existing loan portfolios to identify risks, ensure compliance, and support timely repayment. May specialize in one product line (auto, personal, etc.) or may be diversified. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. |
