| Requirements and Responsibilities For Annuities Customer Service Director |
| Directs the strategic and operational activities of annuity customer service functions to ensure exceptional policyholder support and service delivery. Develops customer service policies, performance standards, and operational procedures to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. Oversees departmental budgets, staffing strategies, workforce planning, and employee development initiatives. Collaborates with sales, operations, compliance, and technology teams to enhance customer experience and support organizational objectives. Evaluates service metrics, customer feedback, and operational trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and risk mitigation. Ensures compliance with insurance regulations, internal controls, and company service standards across all customer interactions. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. Manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. |
